Data Collection

You will receive communications from Big Hammer throughout the data collection process.

As a reminder, the program milestones for Data Collection are as follows:

What does 25% complete mean?
The following steps in the Verify Job(s) are complete:
     1. Review Items
     2. Accept or Reject Items
     3. Accepted Items will Auto Publish to the HD Supply Private Pool

What does 75% complete mean?
The following steps in the HD Supply HMDP Job are complete:
     1. Enter Global Attributes and Upload/Link Images for Items
     2. Enter Class-Specific Attributes for Items
     3. Big Hammer Verifies Images*
     4. Items Verified Will Move to “Waiting for Extract” Step

What does 100% complete mean?
The merchant has accepted all items.

 *If an item is rejected due to incorrect images or data it will reside in a Big Hammer rejected step or a retailer rejected step. The supplier must correct the rejected item.

For suppliers that have more than 100 items, we recommend that you use a data feed. For more information, please go to the XML Feeds section of the Product Registry (http://productregistry.bighammer.com).

In the interest of expediting the program, HD Supply Facilities Maintenance has provided Big Hammer Data with all of the items (Manufacturer Part Number, Short Description) required for this phase of the program. We have loaded these items into verify jobs within the Product Registry for you. Step-by-step information on how to complete your Collection for this program can be found within the Help section of the Product Registry (http://productregistry.bighammer.com).
