Data Collection Process
Following are the steps that need to be performed as part of the data collection process.
1. Add items into the Marketing Data Pool. When adding items ensure the following:
a. Assign the correct Location/Target Market Combination
b. Select Lowe’s as a Pre-Approved Retailer
c. Activate the Item for Subscription
2. Enter item information in the Marketing Data Pool. When entering item information in the MDP ensure the following:
a. Complete all required attributes in the Global Marketing Pool - Global Attribute Step
b. Complete all required attributes in the Class Specific Marketing Attribute Step
3. Enter item information in the Lowe’s Pool. When entering item information in the Lowe’s pool ensure the following:
a. Complete any missing required attributes in the Lowes Integration Step1 – Supplier Input Global Attribute Step
b. Complete any missing required attributes in the Lowes Integration Step2 – Supplier Input Class Specific Attribute Step
It is highly recommended if you have the information for Optional Attributes that you fill them in as the additional information will aid in the selling of your products.
